The topic was Effective democracy can only be possible with effective citizenship. 10 speakers from 5 schools participated. The participants were given one hour for the preparation. They were seated in the library under the supervision of two experienced teachers.
The teams were well prepared and they used various skills like overstatement definition, rhetoric, irony etc. to convince the audience. The participants were full of energy and spoke up with great facial expressions, body movements and gestures.
Due to norms of the debate competition our students did not participated in home school debate competition.
Our students Mohd. Waiz Bhat and Zeeshan Ali Khan, both X Science took part in the same competition and went to C.P.
