Report of Inter House Poem Recitation Competition

held on 25 th April 2026

An Inter House Poem Recitation Competition was successfully conducted on 25th April 2026 (Saturday) in the school auditorium during the last two periods. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both junior and senior students, representing their respective houses. The programme began with a brief introduction highlighting the importance of poetry in enhancing expression, confidence, and creativity among students.

Participants recited a variety of poems with great confidence, clarity, and expression, captivating the audience and judges alike. The competition was judged by Naheed Zehra Ma’am and Nishat Fatima Zaidi
Ma’am, who evaluated the participants based on pronunciation, expression, confidence, and overall presentation. Their valuable feedback encouraged the students to further improve their recitation skills.
Students from all houses—Sir Syed, Allama Iqbal, Gandhi, and Mother Teresa—performed exceptionally well, making the competition both engaging and competitive. The winners were declared in both Junior and Senior categories, and appreciation was given to all participants for their efforts.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the judges, participants, and organizers for making the competition a grand success. Overall, the competition provided a wonderful platform for students to showcase their talent and build confidence.
