A song full of patriotism, powerful words, that produced a wave of patriotism in our blood and its with the same undiminished spirit that we celebrated this Independence Day. On this day we finally disposed the British rule and took charge of our destiny. This year we celebrated 71 independence day with great enthusiasm.

We all uloomians gathered for the morning assembly which started with God’s blessings Qirat done by Irfan Mosavi, class VII followed by flag hoisting done by the Chief Guest Mr. Syed Ali Haider Kazmi, Treasurer, M.U.College. After the flag hoisting the entire school proceeded towards the auditorium for the further programme.

The programme was conducted by a very talented student of class X Com.  Mohd. Abbas.  In auditorium the Qirat was done by Mohd. Anus class VIII-A and an enlishspeech delivered by Mohd. Haider (Class XI) followed by a patriotic song by the students of Mother Teresa House. After that Hindi speech delivered by Faiz Abbas Zaidi (Class X Com.) followed by another patriotic song by the group of Gandhi House.

A note of thanks was given by our respective Principal Sir.

The program came to an end with a rose of attention for the national anthem and later the sweet distribution. I conclude on the note of Allama Iqbal –  Sare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara.
